Transgender Hirstory in 99 Objects:
Legends & Mythologies
hosted by the ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives at USC Library
March 21 — August 1, 2015
MOTHA’s first exhibition examined the cultural history of trans folks through the material culture of trans hirstory. By blurring the lines of the real and imagined, Transgender Objects in 99 Objects examined the role of legitimacy and legitimizing arts and history for marginalized and erased histories, such as those of trans people.
